CM interacts with IAS trainees
Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday said the
role of civil servants has undergone drastic change with a district
Collector today being expected to be a “facilitator, enabler and manager
of inclusive development”.
Addressing the young
probationary officers of 2014 IAS batch at the Lal Bahadur Shastri
National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie, Mr.Naidu spoke of the
changing role of bureaucracy in the days of knowledge explosion and how
governance should be dynamic enough to keep pace with people’s
expectations and changing needs of the society.
Mr.Naidu
who was apparently invited to address the probationer IAS officers and
also senior IAS officers attending Phase IV course after he emerged as
the popular choice among all the Chief Ministers across the country told
them that demography, democracy and demand would be the three main
drivers of the country’s future.
